    How is parking at Wellington Place handled?

    Each home has uncovered parking for up to three vehicles.  Parking on the streets is prohibited therefore, additional overflow of parking is available for your guests at the Wellington Place Clubhouse.

    Can I include my Realtor in this purchase?
    Yes.  Any cost of representation in that respect would need to be paid for by the buyer.
    What are Home Owners Association Dues?

    The HOA dues are payable on a quarterly basis and cover the costs of maintaining the general maintenance for the community's common areas such as the Club house, pool area, playground & volleyball court. These fees also cover the costs of landscaping and general maintenance of the grounds at Wellington Place.  The HOA was implemented to protect and maintain the integrity and natural beauty of the community for all the residents to enjoy.

    Do you allow pets?

    Yes but only common domestic pets (non-aggressive dogs, cats, caged birds, etc.).  Pets must be on leashes when in common areas and owners are responsible for cleaning up pet waste in all areas.  Pets must be registered with the association and vaccinated per the local laws and regualtions.

    What are the street names at Wellington Place?

    Alpine Drive, Ashwood Drive, Asbury Drive and Autumn Drive.

    I have heard that neighborhoods with "association fees" have rules that owners must live by. Can I change/delete these as a condition of my purchase?
    No.  The rules are in place and are not changeable except when voted on and changed by the Association and as a whole.  If, after the Association is turned over to the home owners, they decide as a group to change any of the rules and regulations and the option to adopt new rules & regulations into the Association documents.  Until then, all documents and all rules apply to everyone as they are written and are enforceable on everyone living at Wellington Place.
    Are the grills, cabanas, pool, volleyball court & playground for everyone?

    Only residents of Wellington Place are allowed access to these areas including the swimming pool, childrens playcenter, fitness center and volleyball area.  Any unauthorized individuals/non-residents should be reported to a representative of Wellington Place at 662-769-4600.

    What about conveniences like shopping and dining? How close are they?

    In the past few years the city of Starkville has grown tremendously and is home to many fine restaurants and shops, it's only a short drive down Highway 12, about 5.8 miles from MSU and a few miles from the Super-Walmart and other shopping and dining destinations.

    Can I build a fence around my lot?

    Yes.  Any construction performed to the exterior of the lots must meet the guidelines as set by the Association.  Please stop by our model home to see the design of fencing that is allowed at every home and available for purchase through Wellington Place.

     

    What First Time Buyer Programs are available?
    There are literally hundreds of different programs available, depending on your location (city, state, or province) and the mortgage source that you use. The requirements and benefits vary greatly from program to program. Consult your Agent or your local housing authority for more information.
